Privacy Policy
This policy explains how your data is handled when you use the VideoTools website ("we"). Last updated: 2026-10-16.
1. Tools that run in your browser
Most of our PDF and image tools run entirely in your browser. Files you process with these tools are never sent to our servers.
2. Files processed on our servers
Video, audio and some PDF tools upload your file to our server for processing. These files are used only for the task you requested, are not shared with third parties, are not reviewed, and are permanently deleted automatically within 2 hours after processing.
First-party usage statistics and support
We store daily visit counts, tool usage and operation status on our own server. The random local-storage identifier vt_daily_visitor rotates daily. Online counts approximate visible browsers active in the last 90 seconds. The private admin dashboard can show IP addresses when enabled, approximate country/city, device type, browser, operating system, language, site page, referring domain and timestamps. Location comes from a local DB-IP database and is not precise. Visitor details are removed after 30 days and daily identifier records after 35 days. IP addresses in operation history are also removed after the detail retention period; aggregate counters remain. Analytics excludes file contents, filenames and source video URLs. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable browser visit measurement. Names, email addresses and messages supplied through the contact form are stored to handle support requests and may be emailed to the site owner.
4. Cookies and advertising
To stay free, this site shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. See how Google uses data for details. Google Analytics may be used for visit statistics.
5. Your rights
You can send requests regarding your rights under the GDPR and other applicable laws to contact@videotools.com.tr.
